The images presented here are not invented; they are discovered.
Figures, animals, landscapes, and other forms are found through close examination of larger paintings containing Figures of Limited Predictability (FOLPs)—areas formed when pigment is released across a surface and allowed to evolve through momentum, gravity, viscosity, color interaction, and chance.
Some discoveries reveal themselves immediately. Others require prolonged observation. Many originate from remarkably small areas of a painting, often measuring approximately one square inch or less, yet contain imagery that suggests entire worlds hidden within the larger work.
These discoveries are then enlarged and translated into archival watercolor editions.
