SELECTED WORKS

Each painting contains five human figures beneath the surface. They are not immediately visible. Most viewers discover them gradually, often after spending time with the work.

The viewer looks through one layer to the next, discovering relationships that are not immediately apparent.

Beneath the linen is a separate painted environment containing five human figures gathered around a table. Above them, five F.O.L.P.s (Figures of Limited Predictability) are released onto the surface in a single, unrepeated motion.

BENEATH THE SURFACE

The images below reveal portions of the painted environment concealed beneath the transparent linen surface.

The figures are never the subject of the painting, yet they are present in every work. Some viewers see them immediately. Others discover them much later.

That moment of recognition is part of the experience.
