The First Snow of Next Year marks the beginning of a sustained period of studio work and establishes an early visual language grounded in necessity, attention, and process.
This series introduces painted eyes and early F.O.L.P. (Figure of Limited Predictability) gestures as points of awareness within each painting. Text, perception, and physical paint coexist on the surface, allowing images to emerge through a balance of intention and unpredictability rather than design.
